Why are there different translations of the Bible?
Let me share an illustration with you. Say you have a favorite song, and it is on an MP3 player; I guess most of us use our phones now, but for the sake of the illustration, let’s just call it an MP3 player. So you have a favorite song and want to listen to it. You will need a set of speakers. If the player is on your phone, you can listen through the built-in speaker, which is about the same as using the cheap pair of earbuds that come with most MP3 players. You hear the notes, the rhythm, the words, everything… You hear the song. You can groove and sing along to your heart’s content.
Oh, and an update on the book mentioned.
It is no longer one containing Psalms 1-25. Nor is it a 6-book series. It is one book containing the first 72 Psalms. Follow the link below to learn more about it. A second book is in the works, one containing the remaining Psalms.

Have you ever asked yourself, “Why are there so many translations of the Bible? If there is only one Word of God, why is there a need for so many? Does it mean that they can’t get it right?
